This is an archive of my free newsletter, Field Notes, which I currently distribute via Patreon roughly once a month. It is completely free, Patreon simply allows you to receive email updates and interact. The content crossposted here is the same.

Why write a newsletter?

I'm not a huge fan of posting about myself and my interests on social media. This is an alternative way to see what I'm up to (because otherwise it looks like I've vanished off into the void again for months at a time...). I hope this can provide some things to talk about if we haven't seen each other for a bit! I currently use Patreon for distribution because I can make a free tier and use their newsletter features to beam updates straight to your email, and a lot of my artist friends already have accounts on there.

You will find photographs here are dithered, this is to reduce file size (and I think it looks cool!). The images in their initial quality can be found on the links to the original newsletter.
